The academic year has kicked off and the buzz is back on campus. UWLSU gives a huge welcome to all our new students, and we are so excited to see all the familiar faces returning. 

We played host to our biggest range of events this year through Welcome Week. Hundreds of you came along to join us, some of our highlights were the Opening Ceremony, International Café, and, of course, Desi Night. 

Our Opening Ceremony featured a very special guest, DJ Cuppy, who kicked off her tour with us: 

“I really enjoyed University of West London; I couldn’t think of a better place to kick off my tour! London is certainly the heartbeat of the UK and the students at West London had a strong BEAT!” - Cuppy 

Let’s not forget how wonderful the Big Conversation was! We got to meet more than a whopping 2,700 of our new students and loved every second of getting to know them a bit better. Safe to say, this academic year is off to a good start.
