Community Cupboard

Take what you need, give what you can.

Take what you need, give what you can.

What is the Community Cupboard?

As part of your President, Maisie Kelly's, priorities we have started our brand new Community Cupboard, to help in anyway we can towards students' facing hardship in the cost of living crisis. It is located in SMR (next to the SU front desk), Paragon and Reading Campus outside the student Union office.Anyone can come along and pick up a couple of items to help them get by. The cupboard is stocked up regularly by UWLSU with essentials and non perishable items, and we also accept donations to add a little extra to the supply.

Who can take items?

Any UWL student is free to use the Community Cupboard. It has been created for anyone that needs a helping hand. We ask that you please be considerate of others and stick to a 2-3 item limit, to make sure everyone gets a chance to utilise the cupboard.

Please note: the Community Cupboard is open between 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
